Spiros

The essentiality of a project and absence of decoration have been the driving principles behind Vico Magistretti's very long artistic production career, even though the master himself acknowledged that "simplicity is the most complex achievement in the world". Spiros results from a change in prospect, from the everyday to the unusual, transforming a non-descript item – a "broomstick" – into a design product which becomes deeply captivating thanks a few masterful elements. There are two versions of this coat hanger: one to be rested against the wall, the other with a self-standing central base.
