This modular rug is produced by joining a variable number of braids made of wool cords in different solid or mélange colour. The braids are sewn together lengthwise with Punto Zigzag to form the surface of the rug. The number of braids varies according to the dimension of the rug. The border features a wool braid all along the perimeter; the braid is produced with cords in the predominant colour of the rug. Materials and production technique lead Paola Lenti to advise against the use of Zoe in high traffic areas.
