In 1972, a group of young architects created BD with the intention of producing and marketing furniture and other objects for their projects. Their idea was to produce both their own designs and those of the authors they admired, from Antoni Gaudí or Salvador Dalí to Ettore Sottsass or Alessandro Mendini. They were pioneers of design in Spain and immediately obtained the recognition and admiration of professionals in the sector, who were looking for something different from what was on the market. Now close to turning 50, the company continues with the same nonconformist spirit as at the beginning. Being present in more than 60 countries in the best design stores and art galleries, its designs are selected by the most avant-garde interior design and architecture studios around the world.
