Wetland One Side Console
Ancient Alpine oak, submerged in alluvial waters for millennia, resurfaces as something rare and unrepeatable. Each WETLAND One Side Console is shaped from Abonos, a semi-fossilized wetland timber whose grain shifts from warm gold to deep black, colored by centuries of minerals bonding with the wood's own tannins. No two pieces share the same spectrum.
The form moves as the material does: rising vertically, settling into a horizontal surface, then returning downward in a single continuous gesture. Alcarol's signature invisible corner joint ensures the wood grain meets seamlessly at every angle, with resin forming one uninterrupted piece and no visible seam between planes. The natural surface remains unsealed, warm to the touch.
