Alkazar

Alkazar is a hand tufted rug. The geometric pattern that decorates the rug is created with bouclé stitches executed with flat wool braids which are tufted at the same level as the background; this can be in wool or silk. The braids and the background field are dyed in the same colour; the application of two different materials produces the tone-on-tone effect which identify this rug. Only one colour can be chosen.
