Wallpaper Magazine editorial on ddc LA
Wallpaper Magazine has captured the intriguing history of the ddc LA showroom,in a two page editorial. Here is a glimpse from the storey.
"Originally built in 1949 for the Herman Miller Furniture Company, the space was designed by Charles and Ray Eames and was based on their Case Study House #8 in the Pacific Palisades. It is certainly an impressive find for Hakakian and ddc. But then, this is also the firm that lured architectural titan Philip Johnson to design its Manhattan showroom back in 1999."
